May 14th – 20th is Bay State Bike Week; we are celebrating with the MassCommuter Challenge. The Challenge is a friendly and FREE competition amongst Massachusetts businesses, educational institutions and municipalities in which employees, students and residents support their “teams” –based on where you might work, go to school or live– by pledging to bike for all or part of trips. Participation is open to anyone who lives, works or attends school in Massachusetts.
Be sure to follow up with the Bay State Bike Week calendar for bicycling events taking place in your area!

- We are three days out from the MassCommuter Challenge officially beginning....i.e. May 14th - 20th is Bay State Bike Week! Over the past few days, we have been monitoring the Leaderboard like CRAZY! And, we can't help but be amazed at how much farther Massachusetts is this year, then when we were at the same point in 2010. The Bay State goal this May was 200,000 miles. As of 2pm today, we are at just shy of 159,000 miles! This is truly impressive and something tells us that we just might reach 200,000 by Saturday! Keep up the good work ... . . .
